Farcaster has become the social media hub of web3 where people post/interact and get in touch with people in this space. When you want to talk to someone or get on a call with them, we still rely on external applications like Calendly, cal.com etc. Even though it provides the best UX possible, it is still another unnecessary external application that collects user data. Better UX and data ownership can be realized by using CalCast which acts as a booking feature inherently in Farcaster. Thanks to Farcaster Frames :)

CalCast is built as a standalone web3 app with most features seamlessly working within Farcaster frames. Thanks to these amazing sponsors and their cool technologies we were able to ship out the MVP for CalCast.

• Pinata: Use Pinata’s Frame Analytics to show frame stats: How many user churn/clicks I had from the Frame. How people are engaging with my Calendar, etc.

• theGraph: On-chain bookings and profile data indexed from baseSepolia subgraph.
• Karma3Labs: Let users gate their calendars to enable/disabled users match reputation criteria like secondary engagement graphs to be able to book (Optional feature)
• Airstack: Frame Captchas to prevent bots and spams.
