C FUND

The C FUND project addresses critical issues plaguing Web2 crowdfunding platforms, presenting a solution to challenges such as high fees, limited accessibility, centralized control, lack of transparency, payment processing issues, fraud, mismanagement, long settlement times, overreliance on intermediaries, and inefficient governance. With its motto "With Trust Fund (WTF)," C FUND aims to revolutionize crowdfunding by breaking intermediaries, reducing costs, ensuring maximum transparency, and eliminating centralized control. Deployed on the SCROLL Layer 2 blockchain, C FUND not only reduces fees but also leverages blockchain's inherent features for privacy maintenance. The project's future scope encompasses handling fraud and mismanagement, minimizing settlement times, and improving governance, offering a promising solution to rebuild trust in crowdfunding ecosystems.

During the project development, our team encountered several challenges:

Technology Setup: As we integrated new technologies to the technology stack, we grappled with the complexities of setting up various tools and technologies.

Metamask Integration Issues: Integrating with Metamask proved challenging due to persistent automatic network switches while connecting with Infura. This created unexpected complications in the development workflow.

Smart Contract Debugging: Debugging the smart contract presented difficulties, primarily stemming from its abstract and object-oriented syntax. Understanding and rectifying issues in this context required extra effort.

React Integration with ethers.js: Integrating React with ethers.js and other third-party libraries posed challenges. Overcoming these hurdles demanded a learning curve.

These challenges, though demanding, provided valuable learning experiences for our team, fostering a deeper understanding of the technologies involved and enhancing our problem-solving skills.
