What is BOB Gateway? An intent-based BTC bridge that uses BOB (an OP Stack L2) as the execution and liquidity layer: Trust-minimized via SPV light client Scalable solver network for efficient pricing Plug-and-play SDK/API for integration

Flow: BTC → BOB → 1inch Fusion+ → Destination chain

How it works: BOB Gateway uses SPV logic to verify Bitcoin transactions via a Bitcoin light client on BOB. Settlement coordination happens on BOB through EVM smart contracts, while Bitcoin is used purely as the settlement layer. Users send BTC to a Solver; once verified by the smart contract light client, the system triggers a call to 1inch contracts to execute the multi-chain swap.

🔧 Tech Stack & Architecture BOB Gateway is an intent-based BTC bridge that uses BOB, an OP Stack Layer 2, as the execution and liquidity layer.

Trustless settlement: Bitcoin transactions are verified via an SPV light client deployed on BOB. Smart contract coordination: Once a BTC transfer is confirmed, EVM contracts on BOB resolve the user’s intent and route liquidity. Solver network: Liquidity providers (solvers) register with the system and provide wrapped BTC on BOB in exchange for incoming BTC on Bitcoin. 1inch integration: After intent resolution, a smart contract on BOB triggers a call to 1inch Fusion+ to execute the destination swap, potentially across chains.

• User sends BTC to a Solver address with an OP_RETURN hash specifying their swap intent.
• SPV light client on BOB verifies the BTC tx after 3 confs.
• BOB smart contracts match the Solver and execute the swap via 1inch Fusion+.
• The user receives their target asset on any supported chain—no wallets or bridging needed.
