Bridge Troll

This project allows users to connect to the browser-based front end in order to deposit a small amount of ETH which will then trigger a smart contract to send a small amount of FTM to their wallet on the Fantom Opera Network. This allows users to explore different L2s without the costly initial bridge to get FTM in its native blockchain.

We are using React JS for the frontend and solidity for the backend. We were also able to connect Metamask to our frontend.

Our team is made up of all beginner coders, so we were very happy that we got as far as we did. We also never built a frontend that could connect to Metamask before, so we are pretty proud of that!
