Inspiration Developing regions face a disproportionate burden of health crises (disease outbreaks etc.). Yet Public health information is fragmented across multiple documents and storage locations. The consequence is that Important health information is not readily available to those who need it most, especially during emergencies.
Leveraging OpenAI, Lighthouse.storage and Filecoin's IPC Blueband is a one-entry point for important public information vectorized and stored on Filecoin., serving as a knowledge base for health-info chatbots and AI agents
How it's Made
Blueband is a fork from Vectra (open-source local vector database) on Filecoin and IPC.
Instead of relying on local filesystem and storage, BlueBand stores indexes and text chunks on filecoin via lighthouse. storage.
Catalog tags for the indexes can be stored on smart contracts deployed on the IPC subnet, ensuring efficient data retrieval and establishing a transparent record of indexed content
Vector Embeddings and Natural language processing is powered using OpenAI LLM.
