Project Description

BlockBundlr is a Web3 application built on Rootstock that simplifies and optimizes transactions by batching multiple transfers into a single blockchain transaction. Users can choose how to cover gas costs: directly via tRBTC from their wallet, or through a relayer system powered by the RIF economy using tRIF tokens. This dual payment flexibility lowers entry barriers and broadens access for users who may not always hold rBTC.

To improve usability, BlockBundlr also integrates a simple AI agent. Instead of manually entering recipients and amounts, users can type natural language prompts, such as “Send 0.0003 RBTC to 0x123… and 0.0002 RBTC to 0x456…”, and the system converts them into an executed batch transaction. The result is a faster, more intuitive way of interacting with Web3 transactions.

Looking ahead, we plan to build stronger tokenomics around the relayer system and further enhance the adoption of RIF within the Rootstock ecosystem.

How it's Made

Written in Solidity, the contracts handle batching logic by aggregating multiple transfers into one transaction, ensuring efficient execution on Rootstock.

Built with Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS for a clean, responsive UI. This allows users to easily toggle gas payment methods, add recipients, and submit batches.

We used the OpenAI API to implement the natural language transaction agent. The agent parses user prompts and translates them into structured blockchain calls for execution.

Gas abstraction is powered via the RIF Relay SDK, enabling relayers to process transactions using RIF for fees. This architecture gives users flexibility while showcasing RIF’s utility.

One particularly clever hack was combining the AI transaction generator with the batching contracts, which allows free-form natural language instruction to be dynamically converted into a chain-ready batch transaction. This bridges usability gaps between technical smart contract interactions and everyday user intent.

Together, these technologies create a user-friendly batching platform that demonstrates both Rootstock’s security and the practical value of the RIF ecosystem.
