Block & Barrel

This project uses an AI Agent bar tender at its core to facilitate a social web app to connect interested users in a cozy environment similar to a bar. The agent can react to user queries about virtual drinks, specials, local events, stock/crypto updates, and general knowledge. Users can also tip the AI-Tender with cryptocurrency etc. This social space integrates with oracles such as Chainlink for real-time stock data. It can then summarize and analyze these data for casual conversation. It can also provide educational content about trading. Simple games can also be played in the space.

The project is done on the frontend with reactjs and web3js. On the backend, node.js is used for the server logic and IPF for storage. Smart contracts written on solidity are used for NFT minting, tipping and other special events. The AI agent is plugged in using services/libraries like Eliza with connection to OpenAI services and other LLM api. Some level of fine-tuning is done in Eliza to make the agent more suitable for a bar environment. A web3 chat is also added to this space and done with web3 chat service such as XMTP.
