Bitcloud - Streamlining cross-chain token transfers with innovation and security
DeFi protocols have a constant job to keep an eye on security measures as users’ funds are on stake. Therefore, a cross-chain token transfer protocol must be secure at the same time, seamless.Cross-chain token transfers are very risky and full of malicious attackers ready to exploit a slightest of vulnerability. To overcome this, it is utmost important for a user to know they are sending funds to the right address. Copy/paste from clipboards can even be hacked resulting in wrong address payments. Web3 is filled with words and terminologies that a normal user never even heard of - private key, encyption, public key and so on. Therefore, it is very difficult for any user to navigate. Using Chainlink CCIP, we enable cross-chain token transfers for GHO token. For demo purposes we have used Eth Sepolia and Arbitrum Sepolia. To ensure, an user is sending to the right address, the user needs 2 approval before the actual transaction kicks in. BitCloud has this unique way to sign each transaction using their facial signature. We can extend this with fingerprint signature as well for ease to ensure security.
We made it using solidity nextjs and reactjs along with python. We made our designs using figma and used javascript and typescript. For demo purposes we have used Eth Sepolia and Arbitrum Sepolia.
