Trustless, privacy-first health insurance—biometrically gated and decentralized with AI agent claims
BioVault is a privacy-first platform combining advanced biometrics, zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs, and decentralized storage for next-generation insurance policy management and claims processing. Users can seamlessly log in using Privy, making their wallet their unique identity across the platform. Identity and eligibility are verified through the Self Protocol (for passport, age, and country gating) and unique biometric signals (like heartbeat patterns), with all eligibility checks performed through ZK proofs to maximize privacy and regulatory compliance.
Once verified, users can obtain insurance policies cryptographically linked to their wallet, government-issued credentials, and biometrics. When filing a claim (e.g., via PDF upload), BioVault uses a decentralized set of agents running on Vercel Fluid compute to evaluate the claim against the user’s policy. These agents independently review the claim, then reach a consensus via majority voting to determine eligibility for reimbursement.
All claims, policy details, and eligibility outcomes are stored persistently, decentralized, and encrypted on Walrus via Tusky. This guarantees sensitive user data remains tamper-proof, censorship-resistant, and accessible only to authorized parties, while benefiting from Tusky’s seamless integration and reliability. BioVault provides transparency, data sovereignty, and a frictionless user experience for insurance workflows.
