There is a growing demand forAR experience activated by web 3 elements, but until now the experience on mobile web has been a major sticking point. Solving this will enable easy and inclusive access to 3D Digital Collectables, Games and Interactions.

For a digital experience that integrates with the real world, there can be very little friction. Relying on third party apps like Instagram or Snap is typically a deal breaker, as is building any kind of stand alone app. Fortunately there are a number of new protocols and web standards that I believe will unlock the possibilities of accessing and interacting with 3D digital property just by scanning a QR Code.

Currently there are two unsolved issues. One is that all the AR platforms are centralized and the assets are owned by Meta or Snap. The second is that NFTs that are 3D assets are not easily viewed on mobile. Bridging this gap solves two problems at once.

To demonstrate a solution to these problems this project will aim to create a simple web3 app that lets you feed and interact with a 3D virtual pet that grows when fed tokens. Biggie Bank aims to be a fun gamefied educational savings tool that teaches the value of self custody and how to interact with web 3 in a fun and frictionless way.
