Bag is a Merchant of Record (MoR) for the stablecoin economy, designed to eliminate the legal and tax complexities of crypto-native commerce. While standard payment gateways leave the burden of global tax compliance on the founder, Bag assumes the role of the seller, absorbing tax liabilities and regulatory risks across 30+ jurisdictions.

I am non-technical and this is my first week of coding. I have spoken to 5+ founders to validate my thesis. I integrated APIs to build an MVP fast with an AI-first development approach. Here are the technologies I used:

1. Login and wallet creation - Privy
2. Payment gateway - NOWPayments
3. Database - Make.com and Airtable
4. Billing Automation - Flexprice
5. Chains & Tokens - Ethereum, Base, ARC, Solana and Polygon powered USDC payments.

Future Roadmap:

1. Tax collection and filing - Quaderno.
2. KYC/B - Persona.

I did not build or code anything entirely from scratch. To build a full-featured solution, I used as many APIs as possible.
