Streaming dapp for crowdsourced scientific research on Axolotls
The Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum) is a salamander endemic to Mexico, recognized for its extraordinary regenerative capacity, which allows it to restore the functionality of its limbs and organs completely. This project enables a streaming platform for Axolotl conservation projects worldwide to offer remote adoption and VolunteerNFT to boost crowdsourced scientific research on the Axoltl.
Holders of the Volunteer NFT can take clips during the stream, which will be used to train a machine learning (ML) model to visually identify axolotls in a fish tank and track the limp regeneration speed.
Axolovision was built with a nextjs app generated from scaffold eth 2, Nouns for the public goods and nounish inspiration, ENS to identify VolunteerNFT holders, and the contract was deployed on Gnosis Chiado.
