AgentH

AgentH is a decentralized, AI-driven multi-agent platform where independent agents communicate and coordinate over Hedera’s Consensus Service (HCS) to perform tasks like hotel booking and travel insurance quoting — entirely on-chain and without centralized servers.

Users interact through a simple WebSocket chat interface powered by LangChain and an LLM (Groq or Ollama). The main AI travel agent understands user intent and delegates requests to specialized sub-agents (Hotel Agent, Insurance Agent). These agents exchange verifiable, immutable messages using Hedera Topics, ensuring full transparency and tamper-proof coordination.

This demonstrates a new pattern of autonomous-to-autonomous (A2A) communication, where agents act as economic participants capable of executing services, negotiating prices, and recording agreements directly on Hedera.

This project was built using the Hedera AI Agent Kit, which allows autonomous agents to interact directly with the Hedera network — creating, reading, and managing on-chain data and assets. The agent uses Hedera’s JavaScript SDK under the hood, with AI-driven reasoning handled via the ElizaOS framework for agent orchestration.

The backend runs on Node.js with Express, serving both the agent runtime and a WebSocket API for real-time interaction with the frontend. The frontend is built in React + Tailwind, providing a lightweight interface for user prompts, on-chain transactions, and agent state visualization.
