To reverse trends of polarization in the media, we aim to create a diverse, transparent, and verifiably neutral platform to support independent journalists. We allow for readers to pay a single subscription in USDC to gain access to interact with articles, and we can provider writers with stable payments from a community treasury wallet based on the engagement with their articles.

We created a Base MiniApp which allows users to write articles to upload and pin to IPFS via Pinata and write their ownership of the IPFS CID onchain. Readers are able to subscribe to the contract and interact with articles, voting to support or disagree with articles to determine payments to writers. We intend to build functionality to share article posts on the Base app and Farcaster, minting Zora coins that readers can purchase when sharing to gain incentives for being early in sharing viral articles on Base.
