ZORA is the marketplace protocol for NFTs. The Zora protocol lets anyone create a permissionless and on-chain marketplace for any NFT. Zora has a rich ecosystem of marketplaces, protocols and apps built on it, including PartyDAO, Mirror, Catalog and Artiva.
Create your own marketplace in minutes using Zora's open source template.
ZORA will award prizes in four different tracks.
🌜🌞🌛 ZORA protocol and API
Core to ZORA is the ability for anyone to fork, mix, fix, and create NFT marketplaces leveraging ZORA's marketplace protocol.
With ZORA's new GraphQL API you can easily find data on any ERC-721 token from (METADATA), (SALES), (MINTS), (CURRENT MARKET VALUE), (MEDIA), and more including amazing historical data.
For the best use of ZORA Protocol and API ZORA will award:
🎤🎵🎤 On-chain Music ecosystems
You’ve probably seen a steady growth of new ideas in the music NFT space, but most conversations and applications don’t go beyond minting a simple 1/1 file, despite much more exciting tools and strategies already out there, many of them in very close proximity to Zora or using one or the other Zora tool. This is exactly the reason why we want to explore these new music ecosystems and see what else is possible within that space.
For the best on-chain Music hacks ZORA will award:
🔨🧰🔨 DAO tooling
With DAOs, what was initially a very technocratic form of coordination and governance is for others a new form of social club, or rather a way to signal that they are a Web3-enhanced community using some of the tools to explore and navigate this emerging new internet with. After many conversations with DAOs it's clear that there’s still not enough tools for DAOs with a “social” focus.
For the best DAO tooling with a "social" focus ZORA will award:
💫👩🔬💫 NFT experiments
We also want to encourage participants to go wild on the creative side of code, art, the intersection of code and art and NFTs in general - therefore we’re inviting Web3 native and Web3 savvy artists from across all categories as well, hoping for wild things to happen.
For the best wild NFT experiments ZORA will award:

NFT.Storage is a long-term storage service designed for off-chain NFT data (like metadata, images, and other assets) for up to 31GiB in size per individual upload. Data is content addressed using IPFS, meaning the URI pointing to a piece of data (“ipfs://…”) is completely unique to that data (using a content identifier, or CID). IPFS URLs and CIDs can be used in NFTs and metadata to ensure the NFT forever actually refers to the intended data (eliminating things like rug pulls and making it trustlessly verifiable what content an NFT is associated with).
🏆 NFT.Storage is awarding $7,500 in prizes
🧙♂️ Storage Wizard — The best use of NFT.storage to use IPFS for content addressing and/or Filecoin for persistent, decentralized storage.
This is a pool prize $7,500 split between all qualifying teams (Paid in FIL; Max $500 per project in case of lower number of teams qualifying).
👉 Please read and ensure you understand the eligibility criteria and you must use NFT.Storage or Web3.Storage to qualify 👈
