World’s developer stack helps builders create products for verified humans and AI-assisted interactions. World ID enables apps to confirm someone is a unique human without revealing their identity. AgentKit helps identify when agents are backed by real humans rather than bots or scripts, letting products grant access, authorization, or execution rights on that basis. Selfie Check offers a low-friction, selfie-based credential that confirms a real, live person is behind the screen, without requiring an Orb. Identity Attestations let apps request verified identity attributes like age or jurisdiction to support eligibility, compliance, and trust decisions beyond simple proof of human.
Selfie and Identity check full access will be available for developers during the hackathon's weekend.
New AgentKit use cases where a service can tell the difference between "a bot" and "an agent acting on behalf of a real, unique human." Explore where Human-Backed Agents change access, authorization, rate limits, economic terms, payments, commerce, moderation, or accountability.
Will not qualify Projects that reuse patterns from prior hackathons without a genuinely new workflow, vertical, or trust model, for example:
Selfie Check is a low-friction, selfie-based credential confirming a real, live person without requiring an Orb. This track is a beta test: build a project using Selfie Check and deliver testing documentation covering both developer feedback (SDK/API friction, docs gaps, setup issues) and user feedback (UX friction, comprehension, drop-off, camera/selfie flow issues).
Required
Identity Check let a product ask for verified identity attributes (age, jurisdiction, uniqueness, document-backed signals) beyond simple proof of human. This track is a beta test: build a project using Identity Attestations and deliver testing documentation covering both developer feedback (SDK/API friction, docs gaps, setup issues) and user feedback (UX friction, comprehension, consent, drop-off).
