About

The Sui Stack is a modular ecosystem of composable infrastructure layers purpose-built for trustless coordination, privacy-preserving data workflows, and scalable app logic. Rather than provide a one-size-fits-all platform, the stack empowers builders to compose decentralized functionality — storage, access control, compute, and coordination — based on their specific use case.

Prizes

🌊 Best app built on Sui$4,000
Up to 2 teams will receive $2,000

For teams starting something new this weekend and building it on Sui. We want to see market-viable products — real apps people would actually use — that make Sui and its stack do genuine work: Move smart contracts and the object model, Walrus for decentralized storage, Seal for access control, DeepBook for on-chain liquidity and order books, zkLogin for seamless onboarding, and everything else Sui offers. Depth beats breadth: the strongest submissions have a clear product and Sui-native primitives doing real work, not a superficial add-on bolted on to qualify. Coming from EVM? Walrus is the most natural entry point — it's chain-agnostic and drops straight in — but the deeper you reach into the Sui stack, the stronger the submission.

Qualification Requirements

  • The project must be newly developed during the hackathon.
  • The project must be built on Sui and make meaningful use of the Sui stack (not a superficial add-on).
  • A working demo deployed to Sui testnet or mainnet must be submitted.
🔁 Best existing app integrating or porting the Sui stack$2,000

This prize is only available to Continuity Track participants →

For teams that already have a product and, this weekend, integrate a part of the Sui stack into it — or port it to Sui outright. Bring an app real users would reach for and put Sui underneath it: swap in Walrus for storage, add Seal for access control, use zkLogin for auth, tap DeepBook for liquidity, or migrate your logic to Move. We care more about depth than breadth: the strongest submissions show a clear before/after with the Sui integration doing genuine work, not a quick add-on to qualify. Walrus is chain-agnostic, so it slots in wherever your app already lives — including EVM — making it the easiest first step if you're on IPFS, Arweave, Filecoin, or S3.

Qualification Requirements

  • The project must be an existing product (not built from scratch this weekend) adopting or porting part of the Sui stack during the hackathon.
  • The integration/port must be a core part of the app (e.g. read/write to Walrus, Seal, DeepBook, zkLogin, or Move logic).
  • A working demo of the integration must be submitted.
