ZORA is the open-sourced NFT Market Protocol on Ethereum that allows users to permissionlessly mint and list NFTs with complete ownership of their market. The two primary products the ZORA protocol provides are the zNFT standard and Auction House. The zNFT standard is an extension of ERC-721 that establishes royalties, codifies provenance of content and metadata, and creates a basic market mechanism for each NFT minted. The Auction House is an open protocol for an owner of any NFT to permissionlessly kick off a reserve auction, eliminating the need to rely on platforms with embedded fees.
