Swivel is the most efficient protocol for fixed-rate lending and rate trading. At our core, we decompose yield bearing deposits (e.g. cTokens, fTokens, etc.,) into two components: A. Yield Tokens -- Represent the claim to future yield B. Principal Tokens -- Represent the claim to the principal deposit This mechanism then enables the creation of instruments like fixed-rates (selling future yield) or alternative yield-generation strategies through the trade of yield tokens.Swivel is the most efficient protocol for fixed-rate lending and rate trading.
