OpenSea BUIDL Hackathon Tracks:

Entrants need to build NFT projects on Ethereum or an EVM-compatible chain; all projects must be completely open-source without reliance on closed-source software to implement all their features. Core codes and functionalities of the entries should be completed during the Hackathon. Each team is required to develop a web3 project aligning to one of the two tracks:

1️⃣ Best Seaport Contribution

Prizes

  • πŸ₯‡ First Place - $4,000
  • πŸ₯ˆ Second Place - $1,750
  • πŸ₯‰ Third Place - $750

Prizes go to the best projects accelerating and adopting the Seaport protocol; examples:

  • Swapping NFTs
  • New zones that enable some cool new type of order (doing an on-chain auction would be sweet to see)
  • Running a primary sale through Seaport using lazy minting paired with a criteria-based order supporting partial fills
  • Utilities for simulating order fulfillment to see exactly what's going to happen before you fulfill it or to find the best fulfillment method

2️⃣ Best Ecosystem/Community Integration

  • πŸ₯‰ Third Place - $500

A General Open track. Prizes go to the best projects which help build and advance web3 with NFTs. This can include DeFi and NFT dApps, next-gen gaming experience, and DAO enablement.
