Findora is a public blockchain with programmable privacy. Originally conceptualized as a university cryptography research project in 2017, and finally launched to the public in 2021, Findora utilizes the latest breakthroughs in zero-knowledge proofs and multi-party computation, to allow users transactional privacy with selective auditability.
The ETHAmsterdam hackathon will focus on building the Findoraverse - an ecosystem of Dapps that prioritize privacy. Developers can build applications on the fully EVM-compatible Findora Smart Chain, while leveraging the privacy-preserving Findora Native Chain to implement their innovative ideas.
With so many different blockchain foundations for developers to build on, Findora stands out by taking on the spirit of the original cypherpunks: promoting programmable privacy using advanced cryptography.
Winning projects will have a chance to receive a grant from the Findora Foundation’s $100M Ecosystem Fund to help scale the Findora ecosystem.
🏆 The Findora Foundation will hand out three prizes to winning projects in the following denominations (all payable in $FRA smart tokens):
You must explicitly apply for this prize during the submission process to be eligible to win

What We Offer
100M Ecosystem Fund support and partnership opportunities
The Findora Foundation has established its $100M Ecosystem Fund which is a multi-year, community-led commitment to support Findora ecosystem development, research, infrastructure, and liquidity projects that are building on Findora’s privacy-preserving technology. Developers and validators can apply for grants via the Findora Foundation website to help seed their ideas and accelerate their growth. The Findora community will be able to vote on which projects get funded through a governance process administered by its DAO.
High level of technical & marketing support throughout the hackathon
There will be a full series of workshops to help you get a deep understanding of Findora and how to build on the platform throughout the duration of the hackathon. There will also be weekly demo days or projects to showcase their BUIDLs and get more exposure with the community. This gives projects a chance to quickly impress voters and gain early support, giving them a chance to win more in matching funds from the foundation.
