The OP Stack consists of several layers that can all be modified in different ways to take your MUD app to the next level.

Here's a list of crazy features you could add to your MUD app by modding the OP Stack:

• Add regular "ticks" to your game by hacking the derivation layer like Ticking Optimism did to build a MUD version of Conway's Game of Life
• Mod the derivation layer to automatically trigger in-game actions whenever a specific event is emitted on the corresponding L1 blockchain
• Track the current L1 gas burn and automatically add environmental effects when the gas burn is higher or lower than the average
• Hack the execution layer to add a custom precompile to make use of complex algorithms and libraries that can't easily be implemented in Solidity
