Wear 2 Earn

If you're in dev rel / marketing, have you ever wondered what happens to your merch AFTER you give it out at events? Chances are it ends up in a cupboard, never to be seen again. And if you're a merch hoarder, how much merch do you have that you never wear? Enter W2E (Wear 2 Earn). Actually EARN TOKENS for repping your favourite projects and spreading the word. Now you can be fairly rewarded for being an evangelist! And if you're a project, you now have the most powerful way to make sure YOUR merch gets worn EVERY SINGLE DAY! Here's how it works: 1). Wearers wear your merch as usual 2). When people scan the merch (e.g. T-shirt) QR code, they need to complete a quiz about your project, 3). When they complete the quiz correctly, both people earn tokens!

We use Worldcoin to prevent fraud and sybil attacks. This is critical, since otherwise people can simply create limitless new wallet addresses to fake wearing and sharing about the project. Once users have been verified through Worldcoin's World ID, we then know they are real humans (and new) - immensely beneficial to our project. Next, we then allow them to earn 2 types of tokens: the sponsor's native token + our own token. For this, we created our own token on Polygon and Optimism testnets. We mint our own token to the wearer and learner's wallets when they successfully complete the quiz. We also then transfer the native token to both parties' accounts! Since we will have high-frequency transactions, Polygon and Optimism provide the cheap and fast transactions we need. As a result, we can mint our own token and also transfer the native token. This means we will be able to track which wearers are most active and reward them accordingly!
