An app to help digital nomads and tourists learn more about a new place with the help of locals and a place for local residents to monetize their knowledge.
Project Description
The idea of the project is to be the "TripAdvisor of web3". We want to provide travellers with locations and reviews while also making those who create this content able to own this content using Lens Protocol and even profit from it. We've found that there are no real reasons for creators to create content that's special to their communities and cities and we want to change that. As a product geared towards crypto enthusiasts we also feature an events tab to discover more about the locations of each event.
How it's Made
All of the project's social data (profiles, posts, etc.) is stored in Lens Protocol's deployed contract in Mumbai while using IPFS to store and serve metadata. All of the events information is hosted on Tableland's contract also on Mumbai and is connected using the SDK. The app itself is a React app which uses the ethers library to interact with the blockchain.
