TickEth

TickEth is a seamless NFT ticketing platform that adds more value to tickets than ever for the same cost. We are trying to revolutionize the ticketing industry by tokenising all the tickets. TED talks, concerts, standup shows, live sports events and many other large events use physical or digital tickets to distribute to the audience. The major problem here is with the authenticity and transparency as many scalpers make profits from selling these tickets at a higher price when they haven’t contributed in any way to the event.

Issuing NFTs as tickets will provide the needed transparency to track the journey of the tickets and a portion of the resale value is given as royalty to the event organisers. We are trying to tokenise tickets and aiming convert a liability into an asset class with the help of NFTs.

One hurdle was the UX issue. Events are attended by almost everybody, most of them are not web3 native. We had to keep this in mind while building the platform. To make TickEth ready for mass adoption, we built our product in such a way that, people can come onto our platform without knowing what a wallet is and pay via fiat. This achieves the UX of the current ticketing system
