We created an anonymous payments solution using ZK proofs through Aztec’s ZK rollup. It enables verification that a user made a payment to enable content access without the need for a public transaction. Users will be able to choose from different subscription options to access their favorite content and support creators.

We wanted to create a system that provided paywalled content, but without centralized compromises. To accomplish this, we used Aztec for private payments, and Lit protocol for decentralized storage.

To begin, a creator registers in our custom Aztec connect, this allows for followers to pay creators in ETH, but keep their payments private. A creator will then encrypt and upload their content using Lit protocol and then store it content on IPFS. Lit manages access control for this content based on Aztec's ZK Proofs. Followers execute private payments from within Aztec, specifying their payment to the Sequi Creator Bridge. Creators receive ETH to their wallets, and followers can then create unlock keys for the IPFS content based on their ability to generate PLONK proofs for their payments.

All-in-all, this system allows for public decentralized storage, but private payment, and content delivery via zk-provable access control.
