Developers may struggle to obtain test tokens from various networks. Piggy Faucet addresses this by providing a Chrome extension for devs & end-users to explore testnets. It enables claiming tokens from multiple networks via a unified interface, streamlining the process
Piggy Faucet offers a chrome extension experience that will facilitate the testing of networks, which can be easily used by both developers and end users who want to gain experience on testnets. Users can claim test tokens of different networks on a single screen using piggy faucet. Testnet tokens are sent to the given address after the user selects the network and enters the wallet address via the extension. This transaction is defined to give one claim per day to each wallet address.
For this faucet extention, we preferred the react technology instead of using a extention framework directly. We also used hardhat to test and deploy contracts. Since these two are currently the most used technologies, we did not have any difficulties. In addition, we aimed to reach a meaningful point by choosing polygon and scroll networks, on which many developers work intensively.
