Peer-3

Peer 3 is a DeSo app that takes a hybrid approach towards social media platform. It does not store any user information (like phone number, email id, age, gender, etc). Along with having all the features of a traditional centralised social media platform peer 3 gives its users an option to upload their social media transactions on polygon mumbai testnet. Other than that Peer 3 employs a two factor authentication using WORLDCOIN protocol to make user peer 3 community is of high quality. Peer 3 also uses post chat by POST protocol to implement chat between its users

We started our journey with plans of using the LENS protocol but when we learned that LENS is not onboarding new users, we realized that Peer3 will need its own smart contract to store user interactions on the blockchain. We struggled with writing the smart contract and reading it. Other than that we struggled with the implementation of the Worldcoin verification API because the docs for NextJS apps were hard to comprehend. We also faced a lot of issues with push chat. The major issue was the lack of good wifi that slowed the development process alot.
