Project Description
MentaStream is a social platform where you get to discover and leave video memories around the world as NFTs! As you walk around, and you take a great video of a moment you want to remember you can now upload it and create an NFT that persists in that geolocation.
You can set some rules like, how close to the location do others have to be so they can see the video. This can be as small as 1meter radius to the entire world! Also adding some access bound, so only whitelist users can interact with your connect!
How it's Made
To make MentaStream I used Livepeer for a decentralized video streaming solution. This protocol is used mainly for all the creation and streaming of the videos. Livepeer can benefit by opening the doors to more social organic interactions with video streaming.
Also used NFT.Storage to upload the metadata form the NFT as they are minted. It was good to use, I definitely see the potential this tool has.
Used Mentaport for the geolocation rules and communicating between the real world and the blockchain. Deployed one of its started contracts to interact with geo locations.
And al of this is built in Polygon! A great chain to showcase the power of web3. This project can help by opening doors into the metaverse. Because the metaverse is also around us! With more application that use and make users interact in the world, the more mainstream crypto will become.
