Project Description

Manekkiki aims to be a go-to treasury management platform for every web3 company. Since blockchain transactions are irreversible, companies need to be thoughtful before spending and keep track of what they have paid and who is responsible or involved in that payment. Manekkiki makes these pressing problems easy by providing three main features:

  1. Authorization The company can now manage various wallets, add team members to the company, and decide whether or not a person has the authority to spend money from specific wallets. Imagine that the team is working remotely; the head of the operation can do their job and pay for any bills from operation wallets while the CEO is sleeping!

  2. Automated transaction Either monthly contractors or full-time payrolls, the company can set the date and time for when the money should be paid and whom the receiver is within a few clicks!

  3. Verify payment We replicate the experience of the web2 company where the employee has to submit the invoice or quotation to the company to verify their spending. Once the money is received, the employees can use it to pay web2 or web3 companies and submit the bill or record of blockchain transactions. From there, Manekkiki will process and provide the company's financial overview at the end of the month.

How it's Made

This project consist of many technologies mix with web3.0 and web2.0 (or should we call them web5.0 ??) as follows:

  • Smart Contract: we use Solidity and use Foundry as develop environment.
  • Backend: we use The graph for on-chain indexing and some Google cloud run api for storing data off-chain. We also use IPFS for storing receipt and bill.
  • Frontend: we use React framework with NextJS with Material UI (MUI)
  • Wallet Integration: we use Metamask for web browser and Wallet Connect for the use with mobile wallet For the other sponsor technologies, we think we may be use as follows:
  • IPFS: for storing off-chain information like bill and receipt
  • Polygon: for cheap gas and fast L1 chain with great support
  • The graph: for on-chain data indexing, so that we can track approval and asset transfer event from our vault contract Notable hacky:
  • We learn how to use new framework and spin new poc for ethereum ecosystem within the shorter time
  • Finally, our mascot is very cute, you can't go wrong with cat. Meow!
