The Future of Work Powered by Communities Kyōdō Protocol facilitates trusted connections between these professional parties with a decentralized, blockchain-driven solution
Kyōdō Protocol is a holistic solution designed to bridge the gap between businesses, freelance professionals, and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). This protocol addresses inefficiencies in conventional recruitment processes, promoting transparency, trust, and active engagement among all stakeholders, while ensuring data privacy and security.
Problem In today's market, freelance professionals, solo entrepreneurs, and job seekers often face obstacles when it comes to locating high-quality job opportunities, proving their skills, and demonstrating their previous work experience without compromising their privacy. Meanwhile, companies struggle to authenticate prospective employees' qualifications without exposing sensitive data and find ideal candidates in a timely manner.
In areas with high demand, such as software development, these challenges are magnified. Traditional resumes and hiring practices fail to efficiently match talent with business needs, leading to wasted time and resources for all involved. Additionally, the risk of data breaches and misuse of personal information in traditional systems is a growing concern.
Solution The Kyōdō Protocol, integrated with ZKP, tackles these issues by offering a decentralized, blockchain-driven solution that streamlines interaction between businesses, professionals, and communities. It facilitates the talent discovery process, provides a means to verify work experience securely using ZKP (allowing professionals to prove their credentials without revealing the specifics), and promotes community participation through token-based incentives. This ensures a trustless, efficient, and privacy-focused ecosystem for all stakeholders.
Quick Intro
The Kyōdō Protocol is a system focused on the relationship between communities, employers, and professionals, with an emphasis on privacy and data security through Zero Knowledge Proofs (ZKP).
The protocol provides a software framework that resolves the issues companies encounter when hiring professionals, offers perks and proof of experience for these hired professionals, and enables a sustainable business model for communities, all while ensuring that sensitive data remains confidential.
All these are achieved by handling payments that companies make for services provided by community professionals, and by utilizing ZKP to verify transactions and credentials without revealing the underlying data.
The protocol serves as a payment gateway that distributes the received funds, issues and distributes tokens that symbolize community benefits to the professional, and logs the specific skills applied by professionals during their services, as a verifiable Proof of Resume, backed by ZKP for added security.
What we did in this hackathon? We finished the creation of the interface that allows companies to create agreements with professionals and pay these professionals on chain. We are using the Scroll testnet Sepolia to deploy this dApp (0xbCdf9Ba1AD5C57d42e08CcC612f0a064A6b441E0).
When professionals get paid, they have the option to automatically generate yields for their wallet balance. All payments automatically go to a vault that is connected to a Spark Lending Pool. Later on we plan to give the user options of investment, but without any DeFi terminology. For the user, its all transparent and clean. It collects its yields and that's it.
We are also planning to make this protocol available in multiple chains and have the option to move assets between chains.
For this project we are using:
