Eezywards

Eezywards is a point of sales platform built for vendors and customers. With payments done with cryptocurrencies through the use of QR codes, our goal is to onboard new users into the Web3 ecosystem in a friendly and rewarding way. Vendors are able to accept payments in crypto while being able to reward their customers. Each customer will receive a non transferrable token from the establishment he buys at. Some of the benefits for loyal buyers are custom coupons (burnable NFTs), achievements, and their evolving NFTs. The way these work is that they level up (evolve) depending on how often the client consumes at the establishment.

We deployed three smart contracts that were written in Solidity. Each smart contract had a unique function. The first one being the creation and interaction with the coupons earned, the second and third one keep record of the achievements and customers’ loyalty level via an evolving nft.

In order to retrieve and save data for the products that can be sold by the merchant we created a MySQL database hosted in Azure.

For a better user experience we implemented our project in polygon as fees are lower than ETH and transactions are faster. For developing the Front-End we used React,js.
