Project Description

edzy is an on-chain tutoring platform that leverages the power of zk proofs to provide enhanced privacy and security for both tutors and students. With zk proofs, tutors can validate their credentials and ensure they're matched with students who have the right level of knowledge, eliminating the need for trust or middlemen.

Tutors will benefit from fast, direct payments and the freedom to set their own pricing and scheduling. With worldwide access, they'll have the opportunity to work with students from all over the globe, expanding their reach and making the most of their skills.

Students, in turn, can personalize their learning experience based on their zk badge, which will allow them to see courses that are tailored specifically to their interests and abilities. By completing external courses on platforms like 'Zkhan Academy', they can include them in their on-chain identity, creating a complete profile of their academic achievements. They'll also have the chance to earn NFTs as proof of their competency, showcasing their skills and knowledge to potential employers or collaborators.

How it's Made

To facilitate on-chain video calls and streaming, we are relying on the Huddle01 and Livepeer protocol APIs, which allow for real-time communication and high-quality streaming capabilities.

One of the key features of our platform is token gating, which is based on NFT minting and ZK Badge identities provided by Sismo. This approach ensures that only authorized users have access to certain features and functions within the platform, providing an additional layer of security, privacy and personalisation.
