DAO Helper

DAOs are the next big thing in Web3, but they face many challenges. The joke is that DAOs are NOT decentralized, autonomous, or organized.

They face three big problems.

1. Discovery and finding the right contributors
2. No scaleable hiring solution,
3. who is working on what (project management)?

We are solving all these problems with DAOHelper.com by building a discovery, hiring, and community management platform for DAOs and contributors.

For users, we have created a non-fungible profile, or as we like to call it, NFP. NFP is your on-chain resume with verified experience and credentials. Users can set up their non-fungible profile in 30 seconds. With NFP, they can discover and follow new DAOs, and apply for jobs and bounties. Users also have a personal dashboard to keep track of all the work with multiple DAOs. Every action and task builds a work reputation on-chain.

Any DAO can get listed on our platform. DAO’s core team can post public and private announcements. They can also hire top-quality talent via jobs and bounties with peace of mind because users have verified no-chain resumes or, as we call it, NFP.

DAO members and contributors can precisely see who is working on what with bounties and task boards for their teams. These boards can also be token-gated.

During this Hackathon, we enabled ENS names, push notifications, and bounty payments on the Gorli test net to work with mainnet and L2's like Optimism and Skale

The project uses MERN stack and various web3 technologies: Metamask, Coinbase, WalletConnect, My Algo Wallet, Email Walletweb3.js, ethers.js, Alchemy SDK, Infura SDK, Ethereum (mainnet and Goerli testnet), ENS, and PUSH notifications.

Users can login with multiple different ways. They can register on Ethereum via Metamask, Coinbase, WalletConnect, Email wallet (non-custodial), or on Algorand chain using My Algo wallet.

When the user registers, they opt-in to DAO Helper PUSH channel so they can receive new updates/notifications from DAO Helper which are tied directly to the user’s wallet address. The superAdmin of DAO Helper can send custom notifications to any user, and users also get automated notifications. We integrated this whole feature during the hackathon and are super proud of our team’s work and grateful for all the help we recevied from PUSH team.

ENS was integrated in this Hackathon as well. So, the users can see that information on their Non Fungible Profile view.

Once logged in, users can join any DAOs and apply for bounties posted by the DAOs and get paid in ETH. Currently, we have tested the bounty payments successfully using Goerli test net. We also integrated this bounty payment system to our Bounty dashboards during this Hackathon and we plan to deploy it on mainnet next.
