Project Description
This projects aims to provide a convenient and safe way for users all around the world to conduct over-the-counter cryptocurrency/fiat transactions. This would imply great convenience for users all around the world.
Imagine that you are in a foreign country and in need of fiat. You do not have other fiat currencies to exchange, and the ATM withdrawal fees are predatory. You would not want to meet up with a random stranger to exchange fiat for your crypto either because of the dangers it may pose.
COAP solves this with the use of attestations by EAS and KYC by SISMO such that users can do OTC trades with an ease of mind.
How it's Made
This project is mainly powered by Sismo for KYC and EAS for creating attestations between users easily.
Users need a Gitcoin passport of at least 15 to be able to send an Order
After a successful trade, users can use EAS to attest that the trade went through successfully.
The Graph protocol was also used to index all of the attestations made on-chain
